Congratulations on your promotion to a supervisory position as a Team Leader. This is a big step in your career with Acme Industries.
For the next several weeks you will be working with your assigned Coach to gain familiarity with your new job duties. You’ll also be working case studies as assigned by your coach, using Acme’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Each case study will cover one aspect of the types of decisions you’ll be making as a Team Leader. Each case study is written based upon a scenario which has occurred here in Acme Industries. You’ll be required to review each case study and the accompanying data, and write a report detailing how you would handle the situation. Upon delivering your report to your coach via this LMS, your coach will review your report and compare with how the real situation was handled. Your case study answers will neither be “right” or “wrong,” but you will be expected to defend your solution based on the evidence provided.
Your case studies are self-paced, but you are required to finish all studies prior to the end of your apprenticeship program. Your coach will monitor your progress and provide assistance as needed.

Coaches: The next screen allows you to monitor the progress of your assigned Apprentices, and view their reports. You will also find the Case Study Keys explaining how the situations were resolved.
